JON BERNTHAL BIO

EARLY LIFE
Jon Bernthal was born September 20, 1976 in Washington D.C. He graduated from Sidwell Friends School and attended college at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. Later on, he then attended The School of Moscow Art Theatre, in Moscow, Russia. There he played professional baseball for The European Professional Baseball Federation. He was later discovered by the director of Harvard University's Institute for Advanced Theatre Training. He was invited to come and study for his masters degree. He graduated in 2002 with a Master is Fine Arts.
CAREER AND CURRENT LIFE
Jon Bernthal currently resides in Venice, California. He currently stars as Shane Walsh in AMC's hit series "The Walking Dead". He also stars in "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" as Al Capone. Later on this year, he will be staring in a new movie called "Rampart" with Ice Cube. Jon is a cousin of professional wrestler, Kurt Angle and is the grandson of late Murray Bernthal.
